75 year old, Sallie Manns, formerly of Francesville, passed away March 31, 2026, with her loving family around her.

On June 26, 1950, Sallie was born to Fred and Pollie (Wireman) Conley, in Rensselaer, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Forest R. Manns, on May 1, 1967, who precedes her. Sallie worked as a cook and dietician for over 18 years at the Parkview Haven Nursing Home. She enjoyed singing at church, quilting, cooking, street racing with Forest, playing pool, and playing softball. Sallie loved dressing up as Elvis and other costumes for the residents of the nursing home.

Sallie is survived by her children: Anthony (Angie) Manns, Fred (Carrie) Manns, Buffey (William) Morgan, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and brothers: Frank (Marsha) Conley, and John (Charlotte) Conley.

Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Forest Manns, grandsons: Randall Grigsby, Charles Andrew Grigsby, great-grandson: Westin Holleman, brothers: Fred K. Conley, Jerry Conley, and sister: Betty Jo ‘Big Red’ Conley.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Funeral Services for Sallie will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Rick Helton and Pastor Tom Lovely officiating. Interment will follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
