Sandra M. Young

75 year old, Sandra M. Young, of Hammond passed away July 24, 2022.

Sandra was born to Trustum and Olive May (Smith) Whicker, in Shelby, Lake County, Indiana. Sandra was a homemaker. She loved to read and work in her flower garden. She also kept the cleanest house.

Sandra is survived by her family: husband: Ronald Young, children: David Paul Bohannon, Charlene Sadula, Melinda Wareing, Roger (Sherrie) Bohannon, Ronald Bohannon, 20 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, sisters: Judy Henry and Shirley Martin.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Gen, and grandson: Brian Bohannon.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Sandra will take place at the funeral home, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at the Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church or family.
