Sheila Crownover-McWhirter

66 year old, Sheila J. Crownover-McWhirter, of Rensselaer, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away December 22, 2021.

Sheila was born to Edison Rose and Jewel (Reed) Counts on August 11, 1955 in Munich, Germany. She graduated from George Washington High School. She married the love of her life, William ‘Bill’ Crownover, on December 18, 1976. Sheila loved to play cards, dance, and sing. She also liked flowers.

Sheila is survived by her sons: Bobby Crownover, and Billy (Ann-Marie) Crownover, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, siblings: Wanda Copeland, Anna (John) Parker, Sharion Sampson, and Lana Erickson.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Bill Crownover, Roger McWhirter, and sister: “Susie”.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Sheila will take place Tuesday, at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
