Sherman Wright

84 year old, Sherman Wright, of Medaryville, passed away May 27, 2026.

On February 17, 1942, Sherman was born to Willmer and Banty Bell (Luttrell) Wright, in DeMotte, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Frances James on December 31, 1991, who precedes him. Sherman worked as a farmer. He loved garage sales, buying and selling misc. stuff, and most of all playing his guitar and singing for the Lord.

Sherman is survived by his children: Bonnie Fuller, P.J. Wright, Raleigh Wright, Michael Wright, stepchildren: Karen Davis, Mark McElroy, Rodney McElroy, Molly Butterbaugh, many grandchildren, and brother: Charles Wright.

Sherman was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Frances, brothers: Albert “Buck” Wright, Pete Wright, and sister: Ruth Ann Cooper.

Per Sherman’s wishes cremation will take place.
