Theodore 'Ted' Donovsky Jr.

73 year old, Theodore G. Donovsky Jr., of Wheatfield, passed away November 21, 2022.

On August 31, 1949, in Hammond, Indiana, Theodore was born to Theodore Sr. and Dolores (Lukowski) Donovsky. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a switchman for the E. J. & E. Railroad. He was a member of the Model Train Club. He enjoyed White Sox baseball, riding Harley Davidsons, and helping with Toys for Tots, and local food drives. He married Donna DuBrock, on July 12, 2008. Ted served for many years on the Griffith Fire Department, and the Wheatfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Ted is survived by his wife: Donna, children: Laura (Tony) Galindo, Brandon Donovsky, Selena (David) Licata, Christina (Matt) Wallek, 6 grandchildren, and siblings: Katherine (Jan) Bond, Jeri Delong, Lisa (John) Adkisson, Greg Donovsky, and many nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Services for Theodore will take place at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, with Pastor William Taylor officiating, a Fireman’s Bell Service.

Per Ted’s wishes cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
