Thomas E Riley

64 year old, Thomas E. Riley, of Wheatfield, passed away May 12, 2020.

On November 1, 1955, Thomas was born to John C. & Betty (Hill) Riley, in Hammond, Indiana. Thomas graduated from Hammond Gavit, and graduated from Purdue Calumet. Thomas worked for Carson Pierre Scott as a Salesman. He married the love of his life, Dawn (Schutz) Riley on April 26, 1986, at St. Andrew’s in Merrillville, Indiana. Thomas was a member of the Amputee Group of Northwest Indiana. He was a bird watcher, and liked photography.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife: Dawn, son: Thomas A. (Tara) Riley, grandchildren: Caleb, Layla, & Mila Riley, aunt: Pat Svekely, cousin: Jill (Brian) Tucker, mother-in-law: Cathy Schutz, sister-in-law: Linda (Jan) Halfman, and several nieces & nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, uncle: Louis Svekely, and father-in-law: Joseph Schutz.

Per Thomas’ wishes cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life for Thomas will take place at a later date.
