Tressa M. Quigley

81 year old, Tressa M. Quigley, of Wheatfield, passed away November 23, 2021.

Tressa was born on May 14, 1940 to Rueben and Laura (Rowe) Risner in Wheatfield, Indiana. Tressa graduated from Tefft High School class of 1958, and received an associates degree from St. Mary of the Woods College. She was an instructional aid, at DeMotte and Wheatfield Elementary. She married the love of her life, Mac Quigley on November 7, 1959, at the Tefft United Methodist Church. Tressa was a farm wife/partner to Mac Quigley. She liked her animals, horse riding, and her flower gardens.

Tressa is survived by her husband: Mac, and daughter: Michele (Richard) Lewis, brothers: Harvey (Harriet) Risner, and Terry (Darlene) Risner, and numerous nieces, nephews ad great-nieces and nephews.

Tressa was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Gene (Linda) Risner.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on February 19, 2022, at the Tefft United Methodist Church. Services will take place at the church at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Patterson and Terry Risner officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a notation to be used for the K-9 Unit at P.O. Box 296, Rensselaer, Indiana 47978.

Looking back, I just came across Mrs. Tressa's passing. I am so sorry I missed it. But it was wonderful looking at her video. What an elegant lady was. Also seeing Mrs. Laura and my memories with her. Mrs. Tressa was so very proud of her brother Sheriff Risner. My sympathy to the Family with many prayers.

I will miss my dear cousin Tressa, I remember the good times we had when we were children. I remember her nanny goat it was special to her.

Tressa was a special cousin, who wrote to me of her animals and family to keep me i. touch as we had moved so far away. A loving and thoughtful woman who will be missed by all her ever met her. love and prayers to her family at her loss, Sharon and Larry
