Tyler D. Mendyke

21 year old Tyler D. Mendyke of Wheatfield, passed away December 12, 2014.

On September 15, 1993 Tyler was born in Crown Point, Indiana. Tyler attended Kankakee Valley High School and worked for Fritz Enterprises, USS Gary Works. Tyler was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 406. Tyler loved hunting deer and fishing.

Tyler is survived by his daughter: Addison Mendyke, father: Doug (Suzanne) Mendyke and Angie Collins (Erik Smith), brother: Trent Mendyke, sister: Mikayla Collins, grandmother: Edna Shull, grandfather: Bruce (Mary) Fraley, grandmother: Edna Duncan.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.  Services for Tyler will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 with Pastor Rick Helton officiating. Interment will follow in the Wheatfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for Addison.
