50 year old, Valerie Ann Tracy, of Rensselaer passed away December 20, 2019.

On January 19, 1969, Valerie was born to Arthur and Carol (Hilton) Ptacek in Rensselaer, Indiana. Valerie worked at the Rensselaer Care Center for over 17 years. On July 4, 2013, she married the love of her life, Robert W. Tracy at Indiana State Dunes Park. Hobbies included embroidering, playing Candy Crush,

Valerie is survived by her family: husband: Robert W. Tracy, Corre Ptacek (fiance’ Ashley Sanders), Deena Tracy (Sarah Kubik), Kailey (Aron) Okichich, 4 grandchildren: Oliver, Anna Bell, Evander, Joeley, brother: Todd (Teresa) Ptacek, and 3 nieces: Elicia, Emily &  Elizabeth

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
