Victor J Moore

87 year old, Victor J. Moore, of Rensselaer, passed away May 9, 2019 at his home.

On February 10, 1932, Victor was born in Rensselaer, Indiana to Orval and Helen (Evion) Moore. Victor served the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and married the love of his life, Barbara Taylor in Rensselaer, on May 19, 1957. He worked at Wrights Furniture for 30+ years, and for the Jasper County Courthouse for 10 years. Victor was a member of the American Legion for a while, Prairie Lodge #125, and the Rensselaer Fire Department for a time. Victor is survived by his loving wife: Barbara, siblings: Orville (Jeanette) Moore, Paul (Patricia) Moore, and Elain Lewis. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Donald, and sister: Margaret. Military graveside rights will take place on May 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana has been entrusted with these arrangements.
