Victoria 'Vicki' Owens

64 year old, Victoria "Vicki" Martin Owens, of DeMotte, passed away July 31,2023. 

On December 14, 1958, Vicki was born to George and Mary (Howard) Martin, in Crown Point, Indiana. She was raised in Crown Point and that is where she met many amazing friends and her husband. She married the love of her life, Michael Owens, on July 18, 1981 in DeMotte. She raised her family in DeMotte and had an amazing career there, doing what she loved, being a hairdresser. Vicki never hesitated to help a friend or a family member who needed a place to stay.  Vicki loved camping, swimming and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Being a Nana/Gramma meant the world to her. 

Vicki is survived by her husband: Michael Owens, Daughters: Tia (Mark Lynn) Lynn, Tiffany Owens, and 2 grandsons, Kaden Lynn, Kellen Owens, and siblings: Steve (Jackie) Martin.  

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, brother and many in-laws who loved her beyond words.

Per Vicki's wishes, cremation will take place 

A Celebration of Life will be held in Aug. 19, 2023, 12:00 (noon) – 4:00 pm

At Jasper County Fair Grounds Community Building, Rensselaer, In.
