Wade A. Sellers

52 year old, Wade A. Sellers, of Rensselaer, passed away on February 17, 2026.

On April 4, 1973, Wade was born to Perry ‘Sonny’ and Ruth (Manns) Sellers in Rensselaer, Indiana. He worked as a machine operator at Intec in Morocco, Rose Acres Farm, and Pak-a-Sak in Rensselaer. Wade grew up going to the Faith Pentecostal Church of God. He loved all animals and being outside in nature: fishing, hunting, going to the stock car races, and target shooting at JP. He was always happiest with friends and family, and adored his nieces and nephews. Wade was known by those who loved him as a comedian who could make everyone around him smile and laugh. His presence could light up a room.

Wade is survived by his siblings: Sandy (Daniel) McInerny, Martha (Chris) Smith, nieces: Samantha Cotner, Meghan Sellers, Alexis Sellers, great-nephews: Blaiden, Ryker, Silas, great-niece: Frances ‘Franny’, grandmother: Pearl Manns, and sister-in-law: Shelia Sellers.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Memory Sellers, and brother: Mark Sellers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February, 24, 2026, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Funeral Services for Wade will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeremy Eisele officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
