Wanda L. Gear

87 year old, Wanda L. Gear, of Wheatfield, passed away March 22, 2024.

On February 8, 1936, in Huttonsville, West Virginia, Wanda was born to Omar and Myrtle (Heathly) Bartlett. Wanda was a high school graduate, who married her best friend and love of her life, Donald R. Gear Sr. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and especially her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her children: Don ‘Robin’ (Pam) Gear, Carey (Kim) Gear, Curtis (Tonya) Gear, 8 grandchildren, 20+ great-grandchildren, and siblings: Ronnie (Bobby) and Sheila (Paul).

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband: Don, and 6 siblings.

Graveside services for Wanda will be held at the 11:00 a.m. on April 2, 2024 at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
