Wayne 'Butch' Stalbaum

73 year old, Wayne ‘Butch’ Stalbaum, of Medaryville, passed away February 9, 2019 at his home with loving family around him.

On January 21, 1946, in Starke County, Indiana, Butch was born to Raymond L. and Betty E. (Williams) Stalbaum. He graduated from Tefft High School and married the love of his life, Betty L. Risner on June 27, 1964 in Tefft, Indiana. Butch worked at Thermo Products, and was a farmer. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and his cows.

Butch is survived by his loving family: wife: Betty, children: Raymond ‘Butchie’ (Bobbi) Stalbaum, Janet (James) Derflinger, 6 grandchildren: Derrick (Abbie) Stalbaum, Kia (Rodney) Farman, Devin Stalbaum, Wesley Derflinger, Dakota Stalbaum, and Darian Stalbaum, 2 great-grandchildren: Kennedy and Madison Stalbaum, siblings: Bonnie (Jerry) Metts, Larry (Sharon) Stalbaum, Russel (special friend Kharon) Stalbaum and sister-in-law Sharon R. Stalbaum; and many nieces and nephews.

Butch was preceded in death by: his parents: Raymond Lawrence (Betty) Stalbaum, 2 brothers: James Stalbaum & Jack Stalbaum, and sister-in-law: Lisa Stalbaum.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN.  Services for Butch will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Medaryville Christian Church with Pastor Don Nedza officiating. Interment will follow at the San Pierre Cemetery.
