Wessel Neeley

75 year old, Wessel Neeley, of Maynardville, Tennessee, passed away February 9, 2021.

Wessel was born on January 8, 1946, to Wayne and Gertrude (Patrick) Neeley in Salyersville, Kentucky. Wessel was a mechanic by trade. He served in the United States Marine Corp. On September 27, 1993, Wessel married Donna Manning. He loved to play with his dog, Axel, mow the yard, and work on motors.

Wessel is survived by his loving family, wife: Donna, children: Kimberly (Harvey) Morse, Tammy (Carson) Huff, Wesley Neeley, Patsy Brockhagen, and Kimberly (Corey) Krutcsh, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and siblings: Marilynn (Michael) Hirtle, Ralph (Vivian Mitchell) Neeley, Patricia (Ronald) Fritz, Paul Neeley, Arnold Neeley, Billy (Amber) Neeley, Richard Neeley, and Brenda (Neil) Clark.

Wessel was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Ernie Neeley, and sister: Mary Danford.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. (CST-slow) on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. (CST-slow) on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville, Indiana with Chaplain Blake Campbell officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for the family.


Due to Covid 19 restrictions we respectfully ask that you follow all government mandates. Only 50 people will be allowed inside at any one time and must follow rules of social distancing. Please limit visits to 5 minutes or less, unless time permits.
