William F. Brockus

88 year old, William F. Brockus of DeMotte, passed away October 17, 2018.

On April 24, 1930, William was born to Harry and Dorothy (Nelson) Brockus in East Chicago, Indiana. He worked in the Tin Plate at LTV Steel, for the United Steel Workers Local 1011. He retired in 1993, and enjoyed country music, toying with CB radios and old TV’s.

William is survived by his children: B J (Jeff) Wilbourne, Harry F (Chris) Brockus, Sue (Mark) Starr, Denny (Shirley) Sayers, numerous grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, special friend: Therese Moore, siblings: Jeanine Wiesen, Donna Lloyd, Peggy Shorter.

William was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Jean, daughters: Joanne Ghergen, Sheila Lintner, sons: William E. Brockus, & Ricky Brockus, grandson: Billy Brockus, and siblings: Linda Siple, Jerry Brockus, and Shirley Kegley.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for William will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Messer officiating. Private family graveside services will take place at the Holland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Generation Center of Roselawn.
