Winifred 'Ruth' Bright

93 year old, Winifred ‘Ruth’ Bright of Wheatfield, passed away February 19, 2019 at her daughters home.

On October 5, 1925, Ruth was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Theodore and Winifred (Holthaus) Harrington. She graduated from Hammond High School. Ruth married the love of her life, Jerald Bright on June 26, 1947. She was a past member of the Women’s Aux Post #369. She loved to bake, crochet, and especially loved her dog, Sadie.

Ruth is survived by her daughter: Judith LeNeave, 4 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband: Jerald, siblings: Ted Harrington, & Dorothea Whitlatch, nephew: Guy Whitlatch, and son-in-law: Jeffrey LeNeave.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Ruth will take place at 12:00 p.m. noon with Pastor Mark Warren officiating, interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
