Clarence 'Pat' Harrison

90 year old, Clarence ‘Pat’ Harrison of Portage passed away July 22, 2015.

On October 22, 1924 in Huntington, Indiana, Pat was born to Harry and Frances (Wahrer) Harrison. Pat served in the U.S. Navy.  He married the love of his life Bernice Pranger on August 2, 1924 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Pat worked as a Newspaper Journeyman pressman for the Gary Post Tribune before retiring. He participated in the Seven Dolor Shrine, the VFW in Portage, and the American Legion #502 in South Haven.

Clarence ‘Pat’ is survived by his children: Steven A. (Tonia) Harrison, Carol S. Moberg, Marilyn (Patrick) Davis, R J Harrison & Rhynell Kegley-Harrison, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Joseph Harrison and Phillip Harrison.

Clarence ‘Pat’ was preceded in death by his parents: Harry & Frances, wife: Bernice, three sisters: Charlotte, Rose & Sarah, and one brother: Edward.

He will be buried in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, Indiana at a later date.
