Pauline F. Pickett, 81 of Brook passed away Tuesday July 14, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Born on January 7, 1939 to the late Daniel and Rosa (Sargent) Thomas. Pauline was a graduate of Morocco High School. Pauline married William Pitman in 1961, and he preceded her in death in 1975. On February 18, 1978 she married Tharon Pickett and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2015. For many years Pauline was a waitress, an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking at home for family and friends. Pauline was a member of Riverside Church in Morocco. Pauline was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Survived by her daughter: Terri Lewis-Hinson (Blake). grandchildren: Daton and Alexandria Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Daniel and Rosa Thomas, her first husband: William Pitman, and second husband: Tharon Pickett, and infant daughter: Melissa Pickett, sister: Shirley Williams, step-son: Roger Pitman, step-dad: Basil Heistand, step-brother: Bernard Heistand, nephew: Tommy Williams, niece: Susan Babincsak.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 10am-1pm at First United Methodist Church of Morocco (203 S Clay St., Morocco) with funeral service following at 1pm with Pastor Ballard Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Brook.
Pauline will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
